This course is designed to give the student 5 hours of training covering topics such as safety, marksmanship, defensive concepts, lethal force considerations and equipment. This is a hands on shooting class and students should expect to shoot 60-90 rounds of ammunition. The shooting portion will cover technical shooting, drawing from a holster, ready positions, multiple shots and a number of other skill building drills.

This course meets and exceeds the educational requirements for a concealed carry permit in the state of Virginia. Student needs: Defensive Handgun, 90 rounds of ammunition. Eye and Ear Protection, Sturdy Belt and a holster.
