Fellow reloaders,
I need help!
I recently bought a reloading press to load 40 S&W, I bought the Lyman 49th Reloading Handbook. When looking over the data to obtain the charge for 180 grain flat point, I see Lyman used a 180 grain Hollow Point. My question is, will the charge be the same for the flat point as it is listed for the hollow point?
Any help would be great!!!

As long as they are both the same, I mean both are either jacketed or lead. You can't use jacketed bullet reloading data with plain lead bullets, especially if you plan to load them on the hotter side. Like Laserjock said, whatever powder you plan to use, go to the powder manufacturer's website and they should have the data you need and it's free.
