Sure are a lot of Glock fans. Can't say I blame them. Mine is a G20 Reason being. Great round. Can take down any animal I run across given I do my part, very accurate and 15+1 rounds.

G29 and two spare mags, best of both worlds.

4" or 6" .22 revolver loaded with alternating ratshot and solids.More worried about stepping on a slithering rattler than a walking one.

Usually always have my NAA 22 mag with me. Small enough to carry all of the time and is always on me.

If I need bigger (in woods for camping or longer hikes or hunting) then my S&W 629 in .44 Mag 4 inch barrel loaded with hard cast wheel weight 240 grain over 10 grains of unique. Worked for Elmer Keith and works for me. Should stop anything I will come across.

Glock 27 for local stuff and Glock 20sf for hunting and more backwoods stuff. When I get a 29sf that will replace the 27:)

I'm surprised to see so many sig 239's on here. I thought I would see more 357 mags, 44 mags, etc. Great gun though. I have one in 357 sig and I imagine that would do the job as well. Very accurate and reliable gun.

P2K sk .40 on the hip because its out of the way for hiking.. two mags in the bag. If it's longer than 3 days in the bush, it would be the PLR 16 in the bag with 6 30rnders on the side on the bag (have to be able to sustain for awhile in the event of zombies trying to over run the camp). Then again I'm probably just overly paranoid.

I've only been camping here in VA a couple of times, and it was with a bunch of Boy Scouts, so concealment was a must. I had my SP101 on me, loaded with 38+P, and a spare speedloader full of it, as well.

My normal carry is my 1911, and if concealment isn't an issue, I carry that. Up in NH, where there are more critters than people, I either carry the 1911 or my S&W Model 66 with the 4" barrel, full of 357.

For Me it's the s&w 329pd 4in 44mag with a few speed loaders loaded with everything from snakeshot and 44spl and a couple with full tilt 240sp for the black 4 leg critters

This gun weights in at 24oz and you dont even know your carrying it. BTW i know i know you dont need a 44mag but I never over killed anything LOL
