Got the run-around for a week before I decided to look elsewhere.

2012-06-14 - PM to confirm magazine size.

2012-06-19 - Confirmation PM from ghipower.

2012-06-19 - PM to confirm sale.

2012-06-19 - Received PM with phone number.

2012-06-20 - Informed he had the magazine and it was ready for sale.

Multiple calls, left messages, spoke with Gary (AKA Vinnie) momentarily on the phone about the item. He affirmed he had it and was ready to deal, I was informed he would be available after work. I called and left another message, one more call was made the day after this time he picked up and then hung up on me.

If you aren't going to be up-front and honest with your deals then there is no reason to post your items for sale.

He seems very shady from our interactions and I've decided to look elsewhere. I really hate to say it, there are too many gun shops in Hampton Roads to use this on-line service. I prefer face-to-face transactions instead of wasting my time talking to someone that won't even make good on his promises.

Cliff-Notes: ghipower makes promises he doesn't keep, run-around for a week, went to local shop instead of wasting my time on a poor-service dealer.

You guys should use this section before you decide to deal with folks on here... I am wondering how many times this has to happen before someone does something about it. Where is the hammer???

Thank you for this, I will do more research on dealers (buying/selling) before I even contact them on this site.

I don't want to write this site off so quickly, just a very bad way to start my endeavours with a site aimed solely at VA.

This isn't entirely your fault, something should have been done before now to prevent this.

I bought 600rounds of 10mm ammo from him around Christmas and I bought a 1911 pelican case from him yesterday. I havent had any problems with the deals I made with him.
