I arrived at 1315 and Kabar1911 arrived shortly there after. After inspecting the firearm he said he had the $525 but would feel more comfortable paying $500. I said we had a deal for $525 and drove 45 minutes to meet him. He stated that he also drove 45 minutes and "never does this." He stated that he has good feedback and stated again that he never flakes out on a deal. I replied, "you're doing it now." I informed him at this point I will leave negative feed back and this is a crappy thing to do to someone. I wished him a safe trip home and headed toward home.

Rob is accurate in his description of the event, though in the PMs there wasn't a firm commitment on my part for payment of $525. So I felt there was some leeway to haggle. Honestly, I was a bit taken back by Rob's response to my offer when we met up, but I did pursue the $500 offer. I do regret not purchasing the gun it was a great deal and I had hardly left the parking lot before turning around to offer Rob the $525 he was asking, but he had already left the area.
