Folks, there are bills being presented that don't look good.
I know, I know ... you are thinking "Oh, that will never get passed".
If we do our job it won't get passed!!
If we just assume it won't get passed and sit back...that's what will get us.
WE are the ones that need to make the most noise over these bills. Because the anti-gunners will make their noise!!

Wow, that first one is just silly. Could it be read that only transfers can be made BETWEEN dealers and that there is no way to transfer to an individual?

I always go in the entrance where they check your CHP...that line is shorter. If you open carry or conceal you MUST have the CHP!!!
I havent carried in there and probably wont this time either. Ford always goes and I'll just use him as a shield if all hell breaks lose.

But you can carry inside as well as outside but you must have the concealed handgun permit to open or conceal inside.

Just curious, why don't you exercise your right to do so?

And just as a side note...let's try not to look like a bunch of camo'd up wannabe tactical guru's. I always tend to dress very nice when open carrying as it helps to look more like a model citizen (or an off duty cop to some) than the latter.

I've emailed on my congressman but I won't be able to make it the 19th. Unfortunately I don't get off for MLK Day.

Is this bill only applying to transfers at gun shows? Meaning that transfers outside of gun shows are still legal?

If any of this crap gets through I will be moving to the Alaskan outback and becoming a bush people.

that one bill will make ALL private sales illegal, I'm assuming unless you have the FFL do the transfer which = $$$$$

Some FFLs might be for it. Some charge $50 for a transfer. Or you can just buy a gun from them.
