I live near Winchester, so the closest ranges for me are Peacemaker and 340 Defense... Due to the fact that they are in WV (just barely) I have to have ATF approval to cross state lines with my SIG SBR. I finally picked it up just over two weeks ago after buying it in the fall; waiting on the Form 3; and then the Form 4 (which was remarkably quick). I'd love to go shoot the damn thing.

So, I sent in two (with original signature copies) .20s two weeks ago. They only go to Martinsburg which is literally right up I-81 from my house. I have a friend in the neighborhood that sent in a handful of .20s back in February; they were approved and sent back in ten days. I know there was a holiday in the mix, but how long can this possibly take? Has anyone sent in a 5320.20 recently?

Am I being impatient here? The office in Martinsburg isn't the one that process Form 1s or 4s, right? How long is too long? Am I just in the queue for all the Form 1s that people have been dumping the last few months?

I called Martinsburg today and was told the forms were approved on May 20. That was over a week ago and I live less than 20 miles from the office. I guess they mail them out in batches or something.

Insane... it's still not here.

Do they only send stuff out once a month or something??
