Hi everyone,

I just had my Glock 19 Gen4 stolen in a transaction. I am not sure it was a robbery as he just handed me some counterfeit money and as I inspected it he took the gun, got in his car and left. I felt like it could have easily turned into a robbery as he had a gun in his waistband. I noticed him walking off with it but I suppose I wasn't expecting it and not sure if he had back up nearby me.

We met at Walmart at 1200 N Main St in Suffolk. He seemed in many ways legitimate, but in other ways he didn't. He spoke properly, ie bill of sale etc and we negotiated price. ID issue came up and he started erring then. I was uncomfortable proceeding when he said he had no ID, but then at the same time, he had a gun in his waistband and at least one other person in the vehicle. I also felt like he could have other people nearby.

African American male driving a champagne or cream colored Buick, early twenties. NC phone number, VA tags.

I should have been more careful. And he did park with his car facing towards the exit.

Hopefully you contacted the police. Was it a member here, or from Armslist?

I contacted police, I pray to God that my gun isn't used to harm an innocent person. I should have done more.

Any video cameras near by? Maybe the police can get the vehicle tags?
