As most of us do, I had a particular gun in mind and was just waiting to see it get listed for a reasonable price. Ghipower listed the one I was looking for and at that reasonable price. Literally minutes after being listed I replied to the thread with an "I'll take it" as well as sending a PM. About 8 hours later in the evening I received a return PM, after which he removed himself from topic. The pm read that it was posted by mistake. Assuming it was a mistake I continued on my way. Literally 3 days later, the same gun was (and as of today's feedback still is) re-listed but for $100 higher asking price. This took the reasonable right out of the number situation. I bought elsewhere so am not bitter about needing the gun but because of what happened next. When I sent a follow-up PM asking why he had gouged the price after obvious interest being displayed by buyers, he read then removed himself from the topic.

I have had since 27 November to think on this and still have not been contacted with a reasonable/logical explaination. I've also never left negative feedback as everyone is human and can be late, forget things and/or miscommunicate. In my eyes, however, intentional deception and lack of honor will always merit negative feedback. I just want everyone to know that ghipower is on my do not deal list, no matter how many flawless deals he has made in the past while managing to squeeze every hard owned penny out of our fellow stand-up members.

I got over the missed deal until I saw the same gun listed 3 days later with almost a 25% price increase. The "disturbing" PM you speak about reads exactly as follows:

Threatening via PM is a steep accusation and I did nothing of the sort. I do not regret anything I said and will stand by it. I will stand by my word, even if it means losing a buck.
