I hate to put up bad posts, but this member drug me along for 5 and 1/2 weeks, now says no deal. On January 26th I asked him if he'd be willing to ship me some ammo. He said he was willing to ship on my dime. After no contact for a week, I sent a pm, he was out of town. No problem, I said let me know what shipping is. I then saw the ammo back up for sale, so I sent a pm, he stated that UPS store was "out of his way" So I told him to let me know what the price was and I'd send him cash, He said OK. Then I see the ammo up for sale again, I send a PM and am told "I don't ship ammo". WTF? five and a half weeks of "yes I'll ship it" now this.

I can't speak to your situations but ....
I had an excellent transaction with ghipower today.
From our conversation after the transaction, it appears that he spends some time out of country. Don't know if that affected your situations.
In any event, based on our transaction today and talking to ghipower, I would not hesitate to deal with him again.

Can't speak to your situations but had a real good deal with him about a year ago. Was a very accomodating guy.

He may be a nice guy, and easy to deal with if you're meeting face to face. On January 26th I asked "Will you ship on my dime?" his response was "Roger that." Then after a few pm's he tells me that the UPS store is "out of his way to ship ammo." On March 1st he changes his post to say "FTF only" and now he says "I will not ship ammo." Why didn't he just say no in the first place? Why did he drag me along for 5 & 1/2 weeks then change his mind?

this guy has a habit of posting things and then you can't get ahold of him to complete the deal. Once he was out of the state working for weeks. My question is if you know you are not going to be able to complete the deal, why do you insist on posting your items and have people waiting for weeks on you to get your schedule right to get it sold? Took 4 weeks last time i was involve in a deal with this guy.

I've done multiple transaction with ghipower over the last year or two and they have all been smooth and consistent. He even followed through on a deal where he had listed a rifle far below value by mistake....but made good on it.

He's AAA+ with me.

Sounds like you guys need to talk it over and get some clarification made on this.

I had a face to face with gihipower that went great. Not saying that your situation didn't play out the way you say, but it's not what I experienced.

Met Gary for the first time today for a sale, and I can say that he is a great guy and the product fit the description. I will also say that you should not hesitate to do business with Gary, as I would definitely do a sale with him again.

I think the point is being missed. I don't care if it was one single round or 5 million rounds, I WAS TOLD HE WOULD SHIP IT! then he drug me on for 5 WEEKS, only then did he tell me no dice. I'm fine with the fact that some people don't ship ammo, just BE HONEST FROM THE GET GO. Sorry to use all caps, but the point has been missed so I thought I'd emphasize it. He might be a great guy, and I hope everyone has an excellent deal with him in the future. I just felt that I was lied to, which to me is wrong.

I agree with you and don't know how well the initial issue was addressed. Anyhow, everyone and his brother has now had a say, so it's locked.

And going back over it, I don't see where it was EVER addressed. 'nuff said.
